Start Time: 6:30 PM from our Mid City Store (4153 Canal Street NOLA 70119)
Distance: We have official courses set up for 2, 3, & 5 miles. If you want to go further let us know and we can let you know where those are too.
Description: This is our OG run group and probably our largest group, attracting about 35+ runners consistently. If you are a walker this is probably the best group for you to attend - being the only group that consistently has walkers in attendance. The loop runs around City Park and finishes back at our Mid City store - where we always have a keg on tap.
Start Time: 6:30 pm at the City Park practice track on the Roosevelt Drive side of the track.
Distance: Varies from week to week, but usually a total of ~5 miles with a 1.8 mile (or 1 mile if you prefer) warm up, 3 mile workout on the track, and 0.5 mile cool down. The distance of the track portion can easily be tailored to one's individual mileage goals. Reps can range anywhere from 400 to 1200 meters, typically at 5k race pace.
Description: This Weeks Workout 3.19.20: 4 x 200 meters / 2 x 800 meters / 2 x 200 meters
The first set of 200 meter reps are to be ran at 5k pace. Then moving on to the 800 meter portion, being ran at 10k pace. As for the last set of 200 meters, the effort is to be ran at an all out to 5k pace. The recovery between sets are 200 meter jogs.
