Cushion & Midsole
- DNA Tuned foam combines two nitrogen-infused cell sizes: big cells in the heel for plush landings, smaller ones in the forefoot for springy toe-offs. It delivers a soft yet surprisingly energetic ride
- Stack height (~45 mm heel / ~39 mm forefoot) creates a cloud-like feel, yet the GlideRoll rocker geometry smooths heel-to-toe transitions
- Compared to other plush trainers like Hoka Mach 6 or ASICS Novablast 4, it holds its own—but comes at a higher price point (~$200)
Run Feel & Performance
- Excellent for recovery and long runs: consistent reports say it keeps feet fresh, even when legs are tired
- Firm but cushioned: early rides feel stiff, especially forefoot, but it softens after ~15–40 miles. Some find it “clunky” at faster paces and better suited to easy/everyday miles.
- Reddit consensus:
“This shoe is extremely comfortable… could be a great all rounder… keeper in my rotation”
Another:
“put 750 kms on it and loved it… at first it was the only shoe in my rotation”
Upper & Fit
- Generous, breathable engineered mesh with padded tongue and collar creates a glove-like, roomy fit .
- Slightly wide in midfoot and spacious in toebox—great for wider feet or foot swelling
- Note: Tongue lacks gusset and can shift; some testers found it overly bulky
Weight & Aesthetics
- Tends to feel heavy—about 10.5 oz for men (~297 g)—especially noticeable during workouts
- Bold maximalist styling: loved by some for its “fun” aesthetic, disliked by others for being “ugly” .
Durability & Outsole
- Limited rubber coverage with exposed foam suggests wear could appear faster—but lab tests show outsole durability is solid for road use
- Heel padding and overall build structure demonstrated good resilience under testing

Proper Shoe Fit
Get The Right Size!
Improper shoe sizing and shape are the primary cause of ingrown toenails, bunions, corns and hammer toes. Sounds fun, doesn't it? It's not. Shoes that don’t fit your feet correctly can also lead to muscular imbalances in the body, opening the door to foot, knee and hip injuries.
The More You Know..
Most runners get shoes too small for them because they don't take into account these factors:
- When a load is applied to your foot by running, your foot will spread up to half an inch in length. One shoe size is only 1/3 inch.
- If allowed, your foot will splay 15 percent in width under load.
- Your foot is widest at the toes (but most shoes are not).
Tips on sizing
- Do not assume you are the same size as a previous shoe.
- If your feet are slightly different sizes, get your shoes to fit the larger foot.
- Use this shoe sizing chart:
